This is a classic wine from a traditional Barossa estate that balances power and elegance. The nose is rich but enticing with aromas like chocolate-covered cherry, dried thyme and olive tapenade. Fine-grained tannins on the palate buoy a lovely midpalate of vibrant fruit. A chalky texture is made drier by the oak, but this will integrate into the wine with time. Drink 2023–2030.
