The 2011 vintage was challenging for much of South Australia being both cool and extremely rainy. The unique position of our vineyard was a saving grace as the vines were dried out by the brisk afternoon breezes from the Gulf and did not succumb to the rot suffered by so many. We stand behind the 2011 wines produced from the vineyard as being as good, if not better, than the much lauded 10 vintage.
